1 Timothy 1:1-11
Introduction
Charley has been all over the place as of late: crawling, walking, and especially climbing! I mean you just can't keep up with her! And you certainly cannot turn away, even for a moment. We've got this little indoor slide that we had bought for Aiden which she just loves. It's about 2.5-3 ft. tall with stairs on one side and a slide on the other, and she'll spend an hour over and over again climbing up and sliding down. 95% of the time it's a blast...we've had a few tumbles off the slide, however, as well. The frustrating thing about it, though, is that you really can't warn a 16-month old to be careful. Like with Aiden, you can at least warn the kid when he's about to kill himself, but with Charley you're wasting your breath. You can't hold a 16-month old responsible for her own safety and welfare.

Satan and his demons will war against your faith, against your worship, and you will fall if you are unprepared or fight that battle in your own strength.
And so what are the things that Paul called us to do make ourselves ready, to make ourselves strong in the Lord? Well he said be zealous in the study of God's Word; know ...
