1 John 3:4-10

Intro/Attention

Tonight, we continue our series through the book of 1 John. We have been encouraged to live faithfully, soberly, and powerfully for Christ in the midst of a dark world. John has reminded us of the true and authentic message of the gospel and now he is challenging us to live in such a way that shows the truth has changed our lives. Tonight, from 1 John 3:4-10, I want to discuss the subject, Dare to Be Different.

We all know people who are different in a scary way! That's not what I'm talking about! I'm talking about being different, holy, separate, righteous. I'm talking about living a life sold out to Jesus Christ!

Here in 1 John 3:4-10, John shows us several reasons we should be different. We should be different because...
