Series: Defeating Sin

1 John 3:4-10

As parents, we all hand down something to our children.

1. We may hand down our nose, eyes, ears, chin or hair color.
2. We may hand down our bad backs, allergies, or other undesirable hereditary health issues
3. We may hand down our winsome personality, charm, sense of humor or lack thereof, determination, good work ethic or a host of other admirable qualities
4. We may hand down our cynicism, critical attitude, anger, our penchant for conflict, insecurities and a whole host of other bad habits and destructive attitudes.

2. Romans 3:9-18 (ESV) - ...both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, [10] as it is written: ''None is righteous, no, not one; [11] no one understands; no one seeks for God. [12] All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.'' [13] ...
