1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.

2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

3 And one cried to another and said: ''Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!''

4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.

5 So I said: ''Woe is me, for I am undone!Because I am a man of unclean lips,And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;For my eyes have seen the King,The Lord of hosts.''

This morning someone might be asking: ''What's in a mess?'' We're not supposed to answer a question with a question but another question seems the only proper response this time. ''What not in a mess?'' The whole world is currently in the biggest mess we've ever seen since the days of World War II.

The Middle East is in a mess with Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Israel and who knows who else. The Far East is in a mess with China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and all the rest. Europe is in a mess too many places to mention. South America? Central America? Our election, God help us! Again, I ask the question: ''What's not in a mess?''

Heaven is not in a mess. Know why? Because God is there. Let's take a look at how only God can help us with the mess we're in.

GOD CAN CLEAN UP OUR MESS BECAUSE HE IS SOVEREIGN

1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.

Where was God in Isaiah's vision? He was sitting on the throne of His universe. No matter how bad things appear for God's kingdom and for those who belong to Him that's just the way they appear. Appearances can be deceiving.

To the rest of the world Lazarus looked like he was dead ...
