c) ''We would like to extend a special welcome to the class of 2019 that is joining us for the first time in the worship center this weekend.
i) (If that doesn't make you feel old, not sure what will!)
ii) This is a big weekend.
iii) It is ''Launch Weekend'' across all of our campuses and today our brand new 9th graders are joining us.
iv) So thanks for making them feel welcome!''
2) Our Obsession With Life, Our Fear of Death
a) It's appropriate to begin our message today talking about ''youth''
b) Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth
i) Perhaps you remember learning about this 16th century Spanish Explorer who set sail with the mission of discovering a ''fountain of youth'' and instead ended up discovering Florida
ii) Show image of Ponce de Leon
iii) Well, these days, there's lots of debate over this story and exactly what happened...
iv) But we are definitely certain... HE DIDN'T DISCOVER THE FOUNTAIN.
v) Interestingly enough, though, there is a town in Florida called Punta Gorda that claims it is the historic site of the fountain of youth.
vi) Many have travelled there to drink its waters...
vii) Let me show you how you access the fountain.

viii) What the sign says: ''Use Water at Your Own Risk: The water from this well exceeds the maximum contaminate levels for radioactivity as determined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency under the Safe Drinking Water Act.''
(1) So much for prolonging your life!!!

c) As crazy as it sounds...
i) Wouldn't it be great if there really was such a thing as a ''Fountain of Youth?''
