2 Timothy 3:16
We encounter God in worship as we experience His presence with us. We also believe we encounter God through each other. When someone has an encouraging word for us, or prays for us, or operates in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we can experience God that way. We also encounter God through His Word, the Bible. This is a supernatural book that speaks to us.
There are some people that love to read books, but the BIBLE is the only book that reads us! When we open our hearts, and believe that this book is the very WORD OF GOD, that it is God-breathed, we begin to experience God speaking to us through His word. Paul told Timothy a young pastor:
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Then in chapter 4 of 2 Timothy vs 2 to PREACH THE WORD! So many churches are doing good things, but they are preaching the word. God blesses His Word!
Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
GOD CONFIRMS THE PREACHING OF HIS WORD, SPEAKING HIS WORD, AND PRAYING HIS WORD WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING!
Praying the Word means with every situation that you are praying about, speak God's word over it. Don't pray what you want, or what you think the person you are praying for wants. No. PRAY THE WORD OF GOD over every situation. When you pray the Word, you are praying what God would say regarding the situation, you are praying the heart of God, and you are praying the desires of God, so you are praying according to the will of God.
Do you need a miracle in your life? Get a hold of God's Word and BELIEVE IT and then begin to speak it over every situation in your life. Pray the Word, Preach ...
