Genesis 22:16
We are in a sermon series called THE BLESSING, and you can't talk about the blessing of God's people without talking about Abraham. Abraham received the promise that he would have a son through his wife Sarah and that he would be a father of many nations, and that through him and his seed all the nations of the earth would be BLESSED! Abraham believed God's word.
I will say it again, he believed God's word. He put faith in God's word! THAT IS WHERE YOUR BLESSING BEGINS - WHEN YOU BELIEVE HIS WORD! You must first understand that we are those that are Abraham's seed. Abraham is the one that God spoke to get out of his country and to go to the place that God would reveal to him. He stepped out, left it all behind and followed the leading of the Lord. The story continues in that after 25 years of faith and patience, the promise child came to Abraham and Sarah.
But after about 9 or 10 years, Abraham's faith was truly tested. God tests Abraham by commanding him to take his son up to Mount Moriah and sacrifice him there. So he and Isaac go and just as he was about to plunge the knife into the heart of his son, the Angel of the Lord stopped him and spoke to him these words:

BLESSING I will BLESS you - a double iterative. I will bless you with blessings. I will bless you upon blessing you. In the process of blessing you, I w ...
