Hebrews 10:19-25
Whether you are a Sci-Fi fan or not chances are you have heard and will recognize this opening to one of TV’s iconic shows… Space – the final frontier – these are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise – Its continuing mission: To explore new worlds – to seek our new life – new civilizations and to boldly go where no one has gone before.

2. To others he is inviting them to come to Christ and follow Him boldly into a place that had been closed off since the original sin by our original parents – the presence of God.
For weeks we have been looking at this idea that Jesus is bigger – better – greater than anyone or anything. We have seen Jesus as the Great High Priest – Offering a Greater Sacrifice for Sin – Mediating a Better Covenant and Serving a Better Sanctuary (one made without hands).
1. All of this has been juxtaposed with the Jewish legal and ceremonial system and in reality every other faith system – it denounces all systems of work and religious performance or that seeks access to God apart from faith in Jesus Christ alone.
2. The point is not just to drive home a theological truth – he is not simply trying to create in their minds a chart that lists the religious distinctive of various faith systems. It is not out of mere intellectual honesty and doctrinal purity that he has done this.
These great theological themes laid before them ...
