ii) These are all ''hot items'' for Christmas from years gone by
(1) People fought over these
(a) Blood was shed
(b) Unkind words expressed
(c) Adults acted like children to get them
(2) People paid prime prices for them
(3) Many Christmases were made, and lost, by acquiring or failing to acquire these toys.

iii) This year's hot item:
(1) Frozen Sing Along Elsa
(a) How many parents are sick of the Frozen song?
(b) Ready to ''Let it Go!''???
(2) Also, just about anything Star Wars

iv) When I was a kid there was a very HIGH TECH item that was hot!
(1) We all wanted it
(2) Not all of us got it!
(3) It was actually a game...
(4) I'm going to show it to you... ready?
(5) It was a game called Mouse Trap!
(6) In its day this really was HIGH TECH! - It was highly complicated!
(a) NOT FOR CHILDREN!
(7) How many of you had this game?
(8) How many of you remember marveling at how it would work?
(a) Ok... how sometimes it would work!
(b) Let's just say the mouse had a good 50/50 chance of getting away.

i) This was called a ''Rube Goldberg''
(1) Rube Godlberg was an American cartoonist and inventor who died in 1970.
