Questions. Everybody has them. While every question deserves a good answer there are some questions that are more important than others. Some questions are weightier than others.
1. Question, what's for supper may be of great concern to me but it carries far less weight that someone who has to ask 'is there any supper tonight.'
2. Question, what type of stock, money markets, IRAs etc should I put my retirement in is a good question but it doesn't seem to equal the question where am I going to sleep tonight.
3. Question, what are we going to do Friday night - movies - bowling -ballgame is a good question but pales when compared to the question what career am I going to choose.
4. Question, are there really such things as E.T. beings may be a fun thought provoking question for SyFy junkies but does not hold a candle to the question is there a God and dos it matter.
Everyone has question. One of the greatest questions ever asked - maybe the most famous question every asked in Scripture was asked by Pilate as he cross examined our Lord to ascertain if there were any reasons to convict him and have him put to death. Listen to this exchange:
John 18.33-38 - So Pilate entered his headquarters again and called Jesus and said to him, ''Are you the King of the Jews?'' Jesus answered, ''Do you say this of your own accord, or did others say it to you about me?'' Pilate answered, ''Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you over to me.
