Big Idea: What you do with your sin will determine what your sin does to you.
1) Opening Comments
a) Welcome and greetings
b) Thanksgiving is this week!
i) A special tradition around Central Christian Church
(1) A time to thank God together
(2) This has become huge!!!
ii) Services this Wednesday
(1) All Campuses
(2) Times:
(a) All campuses have a 6 PM Service
(b) Gilbert, Mesa, and Ahwatukee have a 7:30 one as well
iii) Boxes of food
(1) We have partnered with the Children's Hunger Fund
(2) We want to feed children in the Phoenix Area
(3) Return your boxes on Wednesday!
c) Christmas is coming soon
i) Invite people!
(1) Many people around here began their spiritual journey because someone invited them to a Christmas service.
(2) It's a special time...one we want to be sensitive to.
(3) We pull out all the stops, don't miss this opportunity!
ii) We will be doing twenty identical services.
(1) These will be offered on all campuses
(2) There will be services held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night leading up to Christmas day.
(3) Check your campus for specific times and days services will be offered.
d) The Story
i) For the past 3 months, we have been in this book.
ii) I want to encourage you to keep reading!!
(1) 15 minutes a week!
(2) If you are behind, don't feel like you have to catch up!
(3) This can keep you perpetually behind.
(4) Just jump in where we are and go with us from there.
iii) This coming week, Chapter 13
(1) If you get this read before Thanksgiving, you can have an extra helping of pumpkin pie!
(2) No guilt... you deserve it
(3) Just keep reading!
