ii) Some interesting things to note:
(1) 27% growth in weekend attendance from when we started a year ago
(2) Based on our average weekly adult attendance we have 77% of our people in a life group
(3) 58 baptisms in a year's time - on average more than a baptism a week
c) Cool comments we've received from Foster Parents
i) ''I just wanted to let you know that you have made three foster kids very happy. We are going shoe shopping today after school. I have been doing foster care now for five years, and this is the first time someone has stepped up and helped are kids. Thank You''
ii) ''Thank you so much! The kids will really enjoy picking out a new pair of shoes. We make sure they have the shoes they need (ie, practical shoes), but this will be a treat getting to pick shoes based on the COOL factor! :) Thank you and your donors for this blessing for ''our'' kids.''
iii) ''Thank you so much!! This could not have come at a better time. Just before we heard of your program we got a new placement and had one of our foster kiddos come back into our home after being gone (returned to her family) for a week. She came back in the middle of the night with only her pjs and a blanket. We have not received any of the clothes, shoes or jackets we had bought for her and sent her home with. Thank you for all you do!!''
