i) Christmas attendance:
(1) 23,400 PEOPLE!!!
(2) This is far and away the largest attendance we have ever had.
(3) Even with all the services we offered, a number of our services were absolutely slammed with people sitting in the lobbies, the starting point rooms, our chapels, our children's rooms.
(4) Thank you for inviting your friends and sharing the message with them about Christ!
ii) Christmas offering:
(1) Our goal was to put shoes on children
(2) Thorough a supplier we were offered shoes at $15 a pair
(a) Foster Care (15,000) children
(b) In Cairo (all that we could after we covered the Foster Program)
(3) We put this out before you as a challenge...
(a) Let's do it!
(b) Let's commit to it!
(4) You gave enough to buy 27,933 pairs of shoes!!!
(a) The 15,000 in Arizona Foster Care
(b) And then almost 13,000 pairs of shoes for children in the slums of Cairo!
(5) You gave $419,000!!!!
(6) This is 75k larger than any other Christmas offering we have ever collected.
2) A New Series:
a) One of the Core Beliefs around Central is that we were ''Made for More''
i) Ephesians 3:20 ''Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.''
ii) 1 Corinthians 2:9 ''But it is just as the Scriptures say, 'What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!''' CEV
iii) What exactly is this that GOD HAS IN MIND?
(1) Do you want it?
(2) If God presented it to you on a ''platter'', would you take it?
(3) Your answer to this question totally reveals your truest feelings regarding the nature of God!!!
