b) Today we are going to look at regret

ii) We live with an avoidance of regret

c) Big idea: You will forever regret if God has to skip you to move His blessings forward.
4) Rehoboam's first big decision as king
a) He has now stepped into Solomon's place as king
i) Could things get any better?
ii) David was a great king
iii) Solomon was an even better king
iv) What about Rehoboam???
b) 2 Chronicles 10:3-5 ''So they sent for Jeroboam, and he and all Israel went to Rehoboam and said to him: 4 ''Your father put a heavy yoke on us, but now lighten the harsh labor and the heavy yoke he put on us, and we will serve you.'' 5 Rehoboam answered, ''Come back to me in three days.'' So the people went away.''
c) We all get in these situations
d) Rehoboam had a lot to protect
i) David and Solomon would prove to be the two best kings Israel ever had
