i) In this last sub-series of the book of Luke we are going to wrap up something we started several years ago

ii) Our plan is that every weekend between now and Easter to move us toward the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

(b) This was off in the future for them, and for us
(i) For us, this might be immanent
(ii) There's no way to know until Christ returns
(c) This we're going to tackle next week
