a) There are some things one long anticipates:

ii) Vacation

iv) Retiring

b) It is with great anticipation we now head into the last days of Jesus... we now enter into the last week of the life of Jesus.

c) Our new series: The Arrival
i) We've been studying the life of Jesus as revealed in the Gospel of Luke
ii) We started our journey almost two years ago

a) Luke 19:28-44

i) Let's first read it in its entirety

ii) Realize that this begins for Christ the last week of his life.

(1) This is happening on the Sunday before he will be crucified on Friday.

(2) The great week of Passover was about to begin.
