1) Opening comments:

a) Greetings

b) Christmas and Thanksgiving projects

i) Benevolence offering at Thanksgiving

ii) Christmas:
(1) Shoes for Foster Children $15 per (15,000 pairs!)
(a) Understand this... I am asking each family within our church to buy multiple pairs of shoes so we can cover this.
(b) Maybe buy a pair for each member of your family.
(c) Maybe challenge your kids to buy a pair
(2) Adopt a Family
(3) Children living in ''Garbage City'' in Cairo

iii) We will explain a lot more about these needs in the days to come

iv) You can begin to give to any of these now...

(3) You can get online now and give today

(1) I take for granted the things I have that I feel are my 'RIGHT' to have!
(2) There are things I acknowledge I have....
(3) Often I had very little to do with them
(4) I WAS GRANTED THEM!
(a) Did you control where you were born?
(b) Did you control the circumstances of your life you now benefit so greatly from?

iii) We take things for granted because we have a sense we are entitled to them... ...
