2) About Miracles
a) Everybody loves a good miracle
i) While this is not totally true, most people love miracles
ii) Miracles:
(1) Capture our attention
(2) Give up hope
iii) In this ever increasingly Godless culture, it's a miracle that anyone believes in miracles... but many do... and more are
iv) A 2012 article about Americans' belief in miracles summarized the following statistics gathered from recent surveys:
(1) 55 percent of Americans are ''certain'' that miracles happen (a 20 percent increase from 1991)
(2) 80 percent believe that miracles ''certainly'' or ''probably'' occur.
(3) 23 percent of respondents said they had witnessed a miraculous physical healing and 16 percent said they had received a miraculous healing.
(4) 75 percent of respondents said they had prayed to God to receive healing from an illness or injury; nearly 85 percent had prayed for someone else's healing

i) By definition: ''An effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.''
