There are some things in life that I want to do and that interest me. I would love to be healthier. Obviously, I am not overly committed to it but I would still like to be healthier and have tried many different things through the years to achieve it. I have been on every diet in the book. I've taken everything from ephedrine based products to natural remedies. I have been to weight management centers and even been willing to eat all protein and swear off bread but one thing I have not tried and has absolutely no appeal to me is vegetarianism. A vegetarian is someone who does not eat fish or meat but eats strictly vegetables, fruits, grains and seeds.

For those of you who interested in becoming a vegetarian but unsure about your ability to adjust and completely swear off meat there is good news. Don't worry!

As vegetarianism gains popularity and increases its market niche, there is a new flavor of vegetarianism...you can become a flexitarian. The flexitarian is a person who eats primarily vegetables, but also indulges occasionally with meat.

The flexitarian designation fits people like on woman named Christy, who says, ''I usually eat vegetarian...but I really like sausage. Sometimes I feel like I'm a bad vegetarian and that I'm not strict enough or good enough. I really like vegetarian food, but I'm just not 100 percent committed.''
