If you have your Bible, please turn to 2nd Corinthians chapter 10. We’re marching through 2nd Corinthians verse by verse and learning about how to turn trials into triumphs. Paul had many, many trials, many trials related to the Corinthian church, but by God’s grace they were all turned into triumphs.

Now many of you may remember that there was a show that debuted in 1956. It was a TV game show. It was called To Tell the Truth. How many ever watched the show, To Tell the Truth? For those of you that never saw the show, To Tell the Truth, it was an interesting show. There would be a panel of four celebrities. And they weren’t high A-list of celebrities. They were people that you’re like, “I think I’ve heard of that person before.” But they were their celebrity panel. And they would bring in three candidates, three people, who all professed and claimed to be the same person. And this person that they said, that I am this person that they all claimed, this person had either done something very unusual, or they had an unusual profession, or something significant and interesting about this person whom they were claiming to be. And the panel’s job was to find out who is telling the truth. And they would question them. Each panel member would get to question. “Number one, tell me about this. Number two, tell me about that.” And at the end of the show they had to reveal who they thought it was. “Well, I think it’s candidate number one. No, I think it’s candidate number three.” And the very last part of the show was the great reveal. And the announcer would also say these words: “Will the real Mr. So-and-So,” whoever it was, “please stand up.” And you remember they, the three on the candidates, they would pretend like, “Well, I’m the one.
