1 Corinthians 2:6-16
First Corinthians chapter 2, we're in a study on the Book of 1st Corinthians and tonight, we want to look at this message that I've entitled, ''Not of This World.''
I heard a story about a lawyer, and he was on an airplane, and he sat next to this blonde on this airplane. It was a long flight, and he was kind of bored. And he thought, Well, I'll start up a conversation and maybe I can play a game with this blonde. And so he said to her, ''How'd you like to play a game?'' She said, ''Okay, I'll play.'' And so he said, ''Well, I'll let you go first.'' You know, he's kind of laughing to himself. I mean, she's a blonde, and he's a lawyer. So she asks him, ''What goes up the hill with three legs and comes down the hill with four legs?'' Well, he thought and he thought. And he pulled out his laptop, and he had some kind of encyclopedia program on there, and he's looking all this stuff up. And then, he gets the phone and he phones a friend, you know, like it's Regis Philbin. And he calls his buddy. He's like, ''What, this that goes up with three legs, comes down with four legs?'' After about 30 minutes he says, ''I don't know.'' He hands her $50.00. He say ...
