Acts 15

Just when you thought it was safe to get out of bed and live life you run into statistics like these from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission:

  • Over 240,000 people were treated in the Hospital ER last year for injuries related to toys.  Almost 37.000 were over the age of 25 and under the age of 64.  142,000 of the total number injured and treated across all age groups were boys and men. • 446,479 people were injured by bathroom structures and fixtures.  272,000 were women.

  • There was an unbelievable 341,824 people who went to the ER for clothing related injuries.  207,000 treated were women.

  • There were 575,000 treated for injuries inflicted by chairs, sofas and sofa-beds.  329,000 were women.

All of this may create a strong desire just to stay in bed snuggled down in your mattress and up against your pillow but even that may not be a good idea as 745,000 people were injured last year by beds, mattresses and pillows.  429,000 were women.
