I know there are different audiences here…
I want to talk to the person who has been in Church and you are really comfortable because you are going to heaven…I want to challenge you today to go to a place that is uncomfortable.
I want to talk to the person who when you stand for Jesus…you are going to get hit…I care but I know some of you are really going to get hit.
I want to talk to the man who is not a Christian because you see Christianity is weak…
you going to find true Christianity is the most radical force on earth and we are meant to stand against a dark world be ready for people to turn on you and you will have to have the guts to make a difference.
How do we know if someone is truly a Christian?
Truly a child of God?
How do you know your truly are a child of God?
1. Spirit testifies
Romans 8:15-17 (NASB)
15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, ''Abba! Father!''
16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,
We are Heirs
My Mom passing away means that I have to take care of her estate.
A big part of that is that I have to prove I am her heir.
The Spirit testifies that you are a Christian
There needs to be proof.
Saying in the 70's ….
If you were arrested for being a Christian is there enough evidence to convict you?
If you want to claim your inheritance then the Spirit must testify you belong to the Lord.
You have an assurance of salvation.
What is the test?
That we truly know Jesus…
