Jesus said he who is faithful in little is faithful in much.
So focusing on the right things and getting the right things right will produce results that ripple into every area of your life.
By focusing on the right things and getting small wins will lead to big results.
The most important area to focus on is your relationship with God.
The second most important area to focus on is finances
The Big idea is that when Faith and Finances intersect you get Spiritual Growth…
Last week we saw that when we learn the Secret of Contentment that Faith and Finances intersect.
I find I can do all things who Christ who strengthens me.
This week we look at the second focus that leads to success in the area of finances and then has a ripple effect into every area of your life!
Discipline!
1 Timothy 4:7-8 (NASB)
7 But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness;
8 for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
Godliness gives you success in this life now and in heaven.
Godliness in even in the little areas has an effect now and into all eternity.
Remember Paul told us in 1 Timothy 6:6…

6 But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.
So we are to learn the secret of contentment
And we are discipline ourselves for the purpose of Godliness
Then we will see our success in our present lives and we will see that grow greater and greater!!!
So, where to you start to discipline yourself for the purpose of Godliness?
