There are two things that reveal what matters to us in a way that we cannot miss…
How you spend your money and how you spend your time.
So we are talking about time!
Pray
Ephesians 5:15-17 (NASB)
15 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,
16 making the most of your time, because the days are evil.
17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Careful is two Greek words…
Blepo-to see. To see in such a way you know!
Verb
Present Tense-you are continuously doing this.
By the way being present tense this means each and every moment.
Imperative mood-means that it is a command.
Akribos-to be careful; to be accurate. Pay careful attention.
So the two together means to live a careful accurate life. Not haphazardly.
Remember wisdom means you know you only have so much time so you need to use it wisely…
1 Peter 1:17 (NASB)
17 If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth;
Psalm 39:4-5 (NASB)
4 ''LORD, make me to know my end And what is the extent of my days; Let me know how transient I am.
5 ''Behold, You have made my days as handbreadths, And my lifetime as nothing in Your sight; Surely every man at his best is a mere breath. Selah.
Make the Most of Your Time or Live Carefully
Psalm 90:12 (NASB)
12 So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.
A wise person knows you only have so many days to live.
A wise person will use each day wisely.
So we need to make the most out of time with the …
