Romans 3:5-31
Review
Romans is about having the real, transforming power of God in your life.
In chapter 1 we saw that Romans is about the power of Gospel and the Gospel is having Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Paul starting in 1:18 through chapter 3 points out why we need Jesus as Savior and Lord.
We are in need of a Savior
Because of the Evil in Society and we applaud a lot of it
Because of the Evil in us.
We are judgmental and condemn others for what we do
We are hypocritical and pretend we are better than we are.
The secrets of our hearts show how evil we can be
So we have all sinned and we need a Savior
We all need help and we need Jesus as Lord.
Pray
Difference between a Christian and a Non-Christian
Tell a Non-Christian he is a sinner
No, I am a good person
Tell a Christian he is sinner

Whose fault is it that we have sin?
If God knew we would sin, then isn't it His fault we do?
Romans 3:5-31 (NASB)
5 But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He? (I am speaking in human terms.)
6 May it never be! For otherwise, how will God judge the world?
7 But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?
8 And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), ''Let us do evil that good may come''? Their condemnation is just.
Paul is saying that is crazy because we are responsible for our sin.
We could choose not to sin.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NASB)
13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, s ...
