1. Recognize the Good
We see the good in what Paul tells us about Phoebe
Romans 16:1-2 (NASB)
1 I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea;
Servant: diakonos- an attendant, i.e. (genitive) a waiter (at table or in other menial duties); specially a Christian teacher and pastor (technically a deacon or deaconess) :- deacon, minister, servant.
Strong's Talking Greek and Hebrew Dictionary.
Woman were and are valued by God
Every place Christianity has influenced, women's rights and value has risen.
The Early Church stood for this in a hostile climate.
Galatians 3:26-29 (NASB)
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.
