I believe we are in the Last Days…
Jesus told us when Jerusalem was back in the hands of the Jews this would be the first sign that would begin the rest …
Luke 21:20-24 He called it the end of the time of the Gentiles.
Israel became in nation in 1948 and gained control of Jerusalem and Temple Mount in 1967
The end of the time of the Gentiles
Gentiles are Non-Jewish people
Israel and more specifically Jerusalem would be in the control of non-Jewish people…the time of the Gentiles.
Then in 1967 Jerusalem was taken back by the Jewish people signaling the end of the Time of the Gentiles and the fulfillment of the first Great sign.
We are to heed the signs of our times
Luke 21:31-36 (NASB)
31 ''So you also, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.
32 ''Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place.
33 ''Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
34 ''Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap;
35 for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.
36 ''But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.''
Now we look toward the coming of the Rapture and the coming of the Lord
We saw last week that in 2 Thessalonians Paul told them how to live as we look for the coming of our Lord.
Today we see that Paul tells us there are two signs that will precede the Rapture.
We are going to look at the first one.

We see signs everyday …
