We are in the Last Days.
One of the next great signs of the coming of the Lord is an apostasy in the Church.
- 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 (NASB)
1 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
- Apostasy: apostasia (Greek)-falling away from the faith, defection from the truth.
- I think we are watching it happen…
- Today we are talking about one of the truths that Christians are walking away from.
- In a minute I want you to write down a Biblical conviction that all true Born Again Christians will hold to and even be willing to die for.
What are your convictions?
- What do you stand for and would be willing to die for?
- As Christians we have certain convictions that define us.
- They need to be Visible in our lives and something we consistently Verbalize.
- These convictions are based on our love for God and our faith in Him and His Word.
- A Conviction will not change based on circumstances or threats by others.
- A conviction will be something we hold even if it is not popular in the days and times we live in.
- A Conviction then is leads us to a Dangerous Declaration!
There are convictions that all Christians should share together.
We must obey God rather than men
The Bible is God's Word and our ultimate source of authority
God's ways are always right
Jesus is the only way to Heaven

- 5. Marriage is a life long commitment between one man and one woman.
