When you think of evil and spiritual warfare is this what you think of?

- There is an actual demonic presence that may be in your life and it may have such a hold you are not even aware of how powerful it is and the disobedience it is motivating.
- Thomas Aquinas described this demon as coming from the deepest pit of hell inflaming our hearts.
- Today I want to make you aware of this area of warfare and give you the truth that will set you free.
Prayer
We are in a war…
- Ephesians 6:10-12 (NASB)
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
When we think of Spiritual warfare we tend to think of directly encountering the demonic.
- But our enemy is subtle and prefers to work in stealth.
- Our enemy tries to appear as good and even make you think that following their ways is for your good.
- The enemy is deceptive and tries to get you to live in this deception…
- Look at what Isaiah 5
- Isaiah 5:13-14 (NASB)
13 Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge; And their honorable men are famished, And their multitude is parched with thirst.
14 Therefore Sheol has enlarged its throat and opened its mouth without measure;
