We are going to look at some of the 3:16 passages of scripture.
The one we are looking at is on the power to change…

- You can change
- You can be different
- Whatever you are struggling with you can overcome.
- We want this to be a safe place to change!

Pray…for Power to Change

Did you make any resolutions to change this year?
- For instance, I resolved to procrastinate more but I have not started that one yet.
The number one resolution people make is to loose weight.

Have you ever noticed that the word diet contains-DIE!
- Nicole Duplechain showed me this Meme that said
- ''Dieting is easy. It's like ride a bike. And the bikes on fire. And the grounds on fire. And everything's on fire because you're in hell.''

What we are talking about today is a big issue to me.

- It is Personal.
- 13 years ago. I was a mess-more than now.
- I was very overweight,
- I knew I needed to lose weight when...

- Children ran up to me on a sunny day to find shade
- When I got on a scale and it reads ''one person at a time''
- I noticed all the adds that promised weight loss in 3 days!
- The Doctor sets up blood pressure appointments and I on purpose missed them

- I had tried every diet that you could imagine Yet I was getting fatter and fatter

I finally hit the point that I weighed 264!
- Heading toward 300.

What I needed was to deal with the real issue ....

- And a meeting with a friend did that.
- Asked about my priorities-quiet time and health time,

This may not be one of the 3:16's that really stand out, but this could be a favorite...
