A One-Sided Jesus (2 of 7)
Series: Encountering the Real Jesus
Jeff Schreve
John 1:14-18
Nik Wallenda is a high-wire, daredevil circus performer. He is amazing in the things that he attempts and completes. He's been called the king of the wire. He works without a safety harness. He works without a net. And he does death-defying stunts.
On June 23, 2013 he performed perhaps his greatest act when he walked on a 2- inch wire across the Grand Canyon. He was 1500 feet up in the air - no net, no safety harness. Fifteen hundred feet up in the air, that's taller than the Empire State Building. He had to walk 1400 feet to get across. He was on the wire, that walk would have been 23 minutes or so. Take a look at what he experienced.

And he was praying all the time he was doing that and as God was saying, ''Get off the wire! Get off the wire!'' No (laughter). One thing for sure about this guy,
Nik Wallenda, he has tremendous balance, tremendous balance. You have to have tremendous balance to do what he did.
