Today, I would like to speak to you on the subject of 'Missed Opportunities' because, it is my belief, that the condition of our country could well be tied to our 'missed opportunities.' Think about it: To read the history of the formation of the USA is to recognize God's divine assistance in the victory we won over a POWERFUL nation. It defies human logic. For almost 200 years, God's people had 'home-field advantage'. Where are we today and why? Could it be???

A song writer wrote these words, ''Life is but a series of decisions'', I will follow with this; ''the decisions we make determines the mark or legacy we leave.'' And this is the truth I would like to convey today. It will serve us well to consider what 'Mark' or 'Legacy' we leave. Our legacy is built by the decisions we make or don't make, the opportunities we take or miss, and what we 'do' or 'refuse to do.' So I ask, what kind of legacy are you leaving? Can you think of any opportunities you have missed because you made a bad decision? Take a look at God's word…

Can you imagine what it would have been like to have been a part of the Jewish exiles in Egypt at the time they turned into the Jewish ''Exodus'' from Egypt? I mean, track the history of the Jewish nation back to Abram in Genesis 12 hearing God say, ''Go to a place that I will show you, I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you.'' Follow the lineage from Abraham, Isaac, to Jacob, and then to Joseph where the Israelites went to Egypt. Remember the bondage that these people lived under during that 400 years.

Wouldn't it have been unbelievable to witness Moses saying to Pharaoh, ''God says, 'Let my people go''' and then see the fish, the frogs, and the flies as well as the water turning to blood. Can you picture seeing the clouds stopping the armies of Pharaoh, the Red Sea parting with dry land, and the Egyptian army destroyed by the same waters.
