When you study the Scriptures you will find that glory and revival go together. Glory is the
outward manifestation of the presence of God in all of its splendor as He reveals Himself to man.
Wherever God is, it is glorious. Whatever God does is glorious. Revival is a new experience of the
presence and the glory of God. When revival comes God's presence becomes real again in the midst
of His people. People are aware of His presence and the word that describes when revival really
comes is GLORY. That's why the Children of Israel in the Old Testament were praying that God
would bring back the glory once again. God's presence had left the people because of their sin and
disobedience. So, the people were praying, "God bring back the glory."
Revival is a new experience of the presence of God - the glory of God in the midst of His
people. So, glory and revival go together. You will also find that glory and revival and winning the lost
go together. When a person is won to the Lord Jesus Christ, that indeed is a glorious experience. The
Lord Jesus said in Psalm 17:22 - "The glory which thou gavest me, I have given them."
When a person is saved they experience the presence of God. God comes into their life. The
presence of God becomes real to them. They are born into the family of Christ, they are in Christ, but
Christ is also in them. So, salvation means glory for the person who is saved. It also means glory for
God. In Psalm 21:5 the Bible says, "His glory is great in thy salvation." When a person is saved it calls
attention to the greatness and the magnitude and the glory of God. The Lord saves a soul and when
God saves a soul and people see what God has done, it causes people to bring honor and glory to
