We have been seeing God move by the Holy Spirit in our services and believe we are in a new season here at Encounter Christian Church. Many are coming to our church to experience God in a deeper way and to grow in their knowledge of the things of the Spirit. How many of you were here last week? Let me bring clarity to what we witnessed here last week.

Staceylin had come to me before service and said she had a prophetic word that she felt was for the Body and she shared it briefly with me. I told her to be ready to share it at the end of worship. By the way, it is important that there be order in the service. Paul told the Corinthian church to let everything be done decently and in order. It was the proper order for Staceylin to bring the word to me first so that I could judge it whether it was the right time for it or if she should pray about it for another time.

''The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.'' (1 Corinthians 14:32)

During worship there was a ''prophetic tongue.'' Now whenever there is the speaking in other tongues, it must always be followed by an interpretation. Why? Because if we just speak in tongues and no one interprets, those that come in from the outside will think we are crazy.

That is why Paul said ''Let him who speaks in a tongue, pray that he may interpret.'' (1 Corinthians 14:13)

So Chip gave the word in tongues and we should have waited for the interpretation but I thought this could be the time that Staceylin is supposed to bring her prophetic word and so I gave the microphone to her. She had a wonderful word from God about the Blood Breakthrough. It was a word from God, but it was not the interpretation of the tongue. But God had His way and the interpretation came at the end of service and God had something more to say to us that He is the lifter of our heads and He wanted to lift some people out of depression an ...
