Isaiah 42:9
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Once again we can read and see the heart of our God. New things are on the menu and just like the new wine our newly adopted Father wants everything new since the former things have passed away.

My adopted daughter gave up her country, her language, and as she accepted her adoption everything became new. I mean everything became new and better for her.

So as we embrace change and as we embrace the understanding, all things have to pass away, because it is for our betterment. Our new Heavenly Father wants to promote us.

- I want to be a new creation
- I want a new heart
- I want a new spirit
- I want new things
- I want new wine
- I want to be the new wineskin
- I want the new rain
- I want the new living water
- I want the new Bread of Life
- I want to be born anew.

And to receive all things new the former things have to come to pass. Let it go, let all the old issues of who you use to be, let it pass-away.

Story Time: I use to receive monetary funds for painting low-riders cars and trucks and the back windows for car clubs. At the time I lived in California. I even was allowed to judge a car completion in the local park. I use to draw naked ladies, skulls, and I used my talent for my glory. When I became a Christian those former things had to pass away, so I could be promoted to be the King's artist. Which is really strange since I always wish I could be like Michael Angelo who painted for a king? Now I am the King's artist. I get to paint His heart in everything I do! If I refused to give up the former things then the new things would not have come. The Lord is using this new thing of worship art to go before me and make away into people's hearts.
