Grace and Providence
Olney Hymns, William Cowper, from Cowper's Poems, Sheldon & Company, New York
Almighty King! whose wondrous hand Thy providence supplies my food, My streams of outward comfort came Either His hand preserves from pain, Forgive the song that falls so lowSupports the weight of sea and land;
Whose grace is such a boundless store,
No heart shall break that sighs for more;
And &ls;tis Thy blessing makes it good;

From Satan's malice shields my breast,
Or overrules it for the best.
Beneath the gratitude I owe!
It means Thy praise, however poor,
