Thomas
Dr. Roger W. Thomas is a preacher, writer, and Bible teacher living in North Texas.
Dr. Thomas was the the Preaching Minister of First Christian Church, Vandalia, Missouri. Prior to his ministry in Vandalia, the McLean County, Illinois native served churches in Macomb, Champaign, DeKalb, and Aurora, Illinois. For several years, Roger was active in planting campus ministries and working with college students at Western Illinois University, the University of Missouri-Rolla, the University of Oklahoma, and Northern Illinois University.
Roger received his ministry training at Lincoln (IL) Christian College (BA) and Seminary (MA and MDiv). He received his Doctorate of Ministry from Northern Baptist Seminary (Lombard, IL). He has served on administrative and teaching staff of Lincoln Christian College and as a Bible teacher at Central Christian College of the Bible, Moberly, MO. Roger has preached for revivals, conferences, and conventions across the country. He has also written several book and hundreds of magazine and journal articles that have appeared in many different religious and inspirational publications, including the widely read Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
In 2005, Roger led in the planting of Cornerstone Christian Church of Bowling Green, Pike County, Missouri.
Roger was also an adjunct professor of Bible and Preaching at Central Christian College of the Bible, Moberly, Missouri.
