Hallock
Pastor Terry J. Hallock was the son and grandson of Pastors. He spent 25 years in ministry to the local church and 12 years at Wataga Congregational Church of Wataga, Illinois. He also served congregations in Indianapolis, Indiana; Chillicothe, Ohio; and Franklin, Indiana.
Pastor Hallock was a graduate of Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Political Science. He held the degrees of Master of Arts in Religion & Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana. Both degrees were granted cum laude. In 1975 he was granted membership in the International Society of Thea Phi in recognition of scholarship and distinction.
In addition to his pastoral calling, Pastor Hallock wrote a daily Internet devotional and served as Secretary/Treasurer on the Board of Directors for The Lighthouse Baptist Christian Center of Galesburg, Illinois--a Christian housing, treatment, and rehabiliation center.
Pastor Hallock and Norma were married twenty-five years and had two daughters, Tara and Gretchen.
Pastor Hallock went to be His Lord on December 22, 2003.
