Dr. Stan Coffey spent the majority of his life as pastor of The Church at Quail Creek (formerly San Jacinto Baptist Church) in Amarillo Texas. During this time, more than 10,000 new persons were added to the church body and there were more than 15,000 professions of faith and 8,000 baptisms. Dr. Coffey served as a Member of the Board of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. He had also served as President of the SBTC as well as trustee on the North American Mission Board.
The church has an extensive mission outreach and has participated in partnership missions around the world.
