Steve Wagers is a native of Whitesburg, KY. He was saved August 10, 1987, and answered the call of God upon his life to preach in October 1989. Steve began full-time Christian service in 1992, and entered the pastorate in 1994. He has pastored churches in Virginia, South Carolina, Florida and Kentucky. He currently serves as senior pastor of New Genesis Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA. New Genesis is a thriving, exciting, and mission-minded congregation built upon lively worship and expository preaching. Pastor Wagers also maintains a full itinerary of revival meetings, and has authored 10 commentary works . He and his wife Kim were married in 1994, and have one son, Noah (1999).
