Joey is the lead pastor of FBC Peachtree City, GA, and a committed personal disciple-maker who has a passion to lead others in an abiding relationship with Christ.
Joey has been serving at FBC Peachtree City since September 2011 and has served in churches in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Virginia, Montana, Norway, and Germany. Throughout his ministry, Joey has served in churches of all sizes in multiple settings which has provided him with a unique ability to connect with people at all ages and stages of life.
Joey attended Carson-Newman University where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Religion. Then after serving with the International Mission Board in Europe, Joey returned to the states to earn his Master’s of Arts in Religious Education and his Doctorate of Education in Ministry with an emphasis in leadership from Southwestern Baptist theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.
Joey and his wife, Meg, are the proud parents of four children.
