McKain

Dr. John McKain currently pastors Suncrest Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. Prior to his coming to Suncrest, he pastored churches in Texas and Colorado. He received his Bachelor's degree from East Texas Baptist University and his Masters and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Typically, Dr. McKain is called by churches that are stagnant and declining and then works with the church in dreaming a new vision and reaching for the goals determined by that vision. He also serves as an adjunct professor for Oklahoma Baptist University at their Tulsa extension teaching classes related to the theological disciplines. Also, he is frequently called upon to lead revivals and winter Bible studies. Dr. McKain enjoys running, weightlifting, and hunting in Southwest Colorado.
